The Great Tour: Vintage Run 2026  kicks off with an epic adventure for vintage machine enthusiasts, blending wild adventure and beautiful scenery.

Essential requirements: Do you have what it takes?

  • A pre-1960 motor car or pre-1946 motorcycle
    • Join our touring class if you don’t have a pre 1970 car or 1960 motorcycle
  • The courage to tackle 4,000km of South African roads
  • Two weeks to devote to the adventure of a lifetime
  • Trust in your machine and the stories waiting to be written

The Great Tour is calling all vintage enthusiasts from around the world to participate in the longest vintage run in Southern Africa.

Join an exclusive group of vintage car and motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors for an unforgettable 4,000km journey through some of South Africa’s most spectacular landscapes. Over two weeks, you’ll traverse mountain passes, discover hidden towns, experience local culture, and share the road with fellow collectors and adventurers who understand the unique bond between driver, machine and nature.

The Great Tour is not a race. It is a celebration of classic heritage, camaraderie, and the timeless spirit of adventure.
